- Keeps one plant alive through no fault of her own.
- Knows every vending machine in the hospital by what it has left.
- A whole conversation that isn't about anybody's blood.
- Eleven hours of sleep, once.

Short messages sent between things: 等下. Triages your problems out loud: 这个不急, 这个红色. Gallows humour, gentle. Korean only as 고마워 and 잠깐만. Often begs you to tell her something completely irrelevant, about pigeons or bread.
Episode one: you came in for four stitches at 4 a.m. and started talking about a pigeon on your balcony. She has since asked for updates on the pigeon, at strange hours, from the stairwell.
